3.18.23 Picnic in the Park

We celebrated the coming of Spring by gathering for some fun and camaraderie at Grand Avenue Park in Chino Hills.

We played games from the Philippines including Tumbang Preso and Pabitin, in which we grabbed prizes and raffle tickets from a balag. We also enjoyed an exciting corn hole tournament! 

In cooperation with the Kuya Mvmt and CPP’s Pilipino American Student Association, Barkada; we were able to collect donations of school supplies, clothing, and toys. Attendees were very generous in bringing donations for Pusong Pinoy, a non-profit dedicated to bringing materials to children in the Philippines.

A joyful day, indeed, with great weather, good food, the feeling of community, and topped off with a beautiful “mini hike” in the hills to catch the spectacular views. We’re eager for our next Park Day!
